Biography:
My name is Gabe. The title "piano slayer" came from several occurrences playing the piano, breaking the keys and cutting open my hands. All in a honest day's work. I am what you call a troubadour, touring around in cabaret's, jukebox musicals, bands, and self-financed tours all over America. Lately, I've performed as a multi-instrumentalist and singer in a cabaret called Blue Suede Shoes in Florida. I've performed on cruise ships in shows called Million Dollar Quartet and Burn the Floor. I've also performed on Las Vegas stages in Million Dollar Quartet.
What's next? I just released an album that I played everything and produced. I want to find artists who would like to collab with me. I am a songwriter and arranger, piano player. My greatest strength would be leading the group, but I don't like the term leader. I like the idea of whatever project I'm in to be the sum of all parts, but I know how songs are constructed, without it turning into a chorus-less song, or a 9 minute jam no one will want to hear. I write music that speaks to me personally, however I also incorporate the element that the musicians playing it want to, and have fun doing it.
