Biography:
First autodidact piano, Matteo is formed in the pianist, composer and improviser Jacques Demierre in Geneva from 1985 and for 5 years. He continues his training with classical pianists including the Argentinian Gerardo Vila in Bern and taking musicology lessons at the Uni de Friborg with L.F. Tagliavini. As complementary work, he takes percussion lessons at Adama Dramé. For years Matteo has been playing in different formations of improvised music, Latino, Jazz, Tango throughout Switzerland, especially with the "Artigiani" complex.
