Biography:

Hey my name is Jeremy Wynn, my rap name is J. Money. I'm from a nice city called Greensboro, North Carolina. The operative word of music is play. You get to play music with other people, and you get to play music by yourself. It’s a great refuge from the world sometimes and it’s a great way of putting a smile on someone else’s face. You play something and you give joy to somebody else. It’s great growing up, music is all I had, in a way. We didn’t have television at home. We had music and we had video games. I don’t think there was ever a point growing up where I said to myself “I love music,” but when I was 4 or 5 years old, I thought, “Hey if I just bang on those keys it makes an interesting noise.” It was a game and music is a game of sound. To me, it’s still a game of sound. If you play the wrong note but you listen in the right way, you go, “Hang on that’s really interesting. I never thought that could work.” You forever get to discover things. You forever get to feel something. You get to communicate on a profound level with the musician in your orchestra, you get to communicate and make the audience feel something. That’s to me a life well lived. Everyday you have the opportunity to just spend a few moments feeling something.

I don't feel different about being a music artist. I'm just a young guy trying to make it out like every one else but if I do get a chance to make it out I know I can point my family in the right direction. I remember growing up listening to rappers like Biggie Smalls, 2Pac and Nas, I said to myself this kind of music is generational as I understood it more and more because those rappers had there own flow which was very different from what we hear nowadays! Hopefully in 5 years from now I can be in a position to put my whole team on and buy me and my parents a house. I don’t necessarily look at that as a major goal but it is most definitely one I would love to achieve for everything my parents have done for me while growing up! They have been some of my biggest supporters, especially my dad because he knew and understood that I have a talent and a gift that I never even could of dreamed of having which is turning my thoughts into lyrics and music for others to listen to! I want my music to get heard by thousands of people because I know they can relate to what I rap about for sure!

For my goals in life I want to continue making my music and continue chasing my dreams to become a good artist and a good person out side the music industry. I want to be able to say I have made a song that went gold or platinum. I want to be able to say a record label reached out to me and signed me because of my unique style and flow. I want to be able to say that I’m finally financially independent and start up my very own business. I want to be able to travel and do tours to different cities and states with my music I do make. These are all things I want to achieve in the music industry and are all goals whether long term or short term that I want to accomplish.
