Biography:
The Smooth Show Martel Smooth , born November 28th . Is a entertainer that does Music. (Hip-Hop & R&B) He also is an actor, model and all around creative. Born in Detroit, Michigan and has lived in various places within Michigan. He also has lived in Brooklyn, NY as well as Los Angeles, CA. He came up with his name because before he started making music people would always ask him why is he so smooth. That then made him adopt the name. He is a huge fan of all types of music but especially a fan of oldies and 90’s Hip-Hop and R&B. Martel has been on major movie sets and music video sets. Martel states that his favorite artists of all time is 2Pac , Michael Jackson and R Kelly. He says that he always admired how 2pac was great on both the mic and acting in films. His earliest memories are watching Michael Jackson’s “Moonwalker"". His parents would see him mimicking Michael Jackson’s dance moves. He also fell in love with music when he heard 2Pac's verse on Digital Underground’s “I Get Around” as his older brother played it while in bunk beds going to sleep. His work ethic is insane and states that he studied everything and everyone before him. He is an all around creative and a milestone in 2021 was he found out that his song called “2020” went number 16 on the top 100 radio charts in the Philippines. He is also currently a brand ambassador for “Jones Soda”. Smooth states that this is a full circle moment because he remembers being a child in the grocery store with his mom and she would purchase him the green apple flavor.” Now to be a brand ambassador is a full circle moment. He’s looking to take his career to the next Plateau. In his teen’s he was a DJ for a while. Growing up his father was a DJ by the name of ""California Connection"" and He would also see his mother write poetry. When he was a very young child his mother and grandmother thought that he would grow to be a preacher but they were close because he’s still speaking on a mic. Recently in 2020, he took a tough blow when he lost his father who was his number 1 supporter. He states that he always compares it to feeling like Mike Tyson when Tyson lost his trainer Cus D'amato. Now a’days it feels as if he is on this self fulfilling prophesy to make his dad proud in some way.

To do what I love for a living period. Everything else after that is icing on the cake. Now of course i want as much listeners, supporters/fans as I can possibly get.
