Biography:
Hey! name is Jezmar Mcbean(stage name Jezy) and I'm a clean rapper from Barrie, Ontario Canada. I've been making music since I was 17. My most recent project "Second Chance" has all clean radio friendly content(8 Songs total) that has eclipsed over 125K streams alone and it's been out since September 2020. This was my most successful project to date. Currently working on my first Album called "Unfamiliar Territory" which I'm planning for it to be ready for summer 2021. Clean rap is a new wave of music that I plan on being the first one to truly represent it, and in time it will create more clean rappers to help change the stigma on rap music as a hole.
Career Goals | Objectives:
my main goal right now is to get more hardcore fans that will ultimately buy more Merch! if the deal makes Sense I'd sign one but also finding a manger who's going to grind for me to get to a point where I dont need to work my day job anymore and make music a full time gig.
Music Education | Training | Qualifications:
No I haven't. Self taught everything I know regarding music.
Musical Instruments | Studio Equipment:
I pay to record at professional studios. As a rapper all I really need is a mic to deliver the message.
Influences | Sounds Like:
I really do have my own sound but most people who tend to compare me say I remind them of Big Sean. Rappers I grew up listening are all from the South. B.O.B , T.I , Lil Jon, Lil Scrappy, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, and Gucci Mane. I put my music in a different category in comparison to these artist because we have a total different message in General. If I had to pick, I would say the same people that like Big Sean and Drake fans would love it.
Live Performance History | Residencies | Touring Experience:
I do perform live and have opened up for big names that came to my city in Canada like T-Pain , MGK(twice), Juicy J, Redman and MethodMan. I haven't performed in the last year due to COVID.
