Biography:
Barry Love is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur. He is a rising star whose melodic voice captures the essence, humanity, and soul of a generation. Barry initially wrote music for family, friends, and scores of women before being convinced to share his music with the world. Thankfully,we can all share in his transcendent melodies and masterful lyrics as he sings his hit single, " Thought you love me ". All 5 of Barry's releases have charted according to the Digital Radio tracker , with his first release ending ranking was #10 on the Independent Top 150 . With his new release "Senorita So Fine" , Barry has revealed that his songwriting capabilities and production will transcend many genres, and that he will in fact, be around a long time doing music
Career Goals | Objectives:
I am an Independent artist that has invested in myself.Since i do my own style of music from the writing to production and making my own masters, my sole interest and purpose is to drop music. A song every 60 days , and whatever happens ...happens. If someone comes along and values my music and sees my vision, I'm willing to sign and share the royalties as long as I can drop a song every 60 days..I'm happy. Being an independent I can do that
Music Education | Training | Qualifications:
My uncle was a band teacher. So I learned to play different instruments starting in the 3rd grade. Been in various bands all thru the years usually being the youngest musician and switched instruments between songs.
Musical Instruments | Studio Equipment:
I pretty much built my home studio. Being well versed with computers for years, when music became digital, my possibilities were endless. i use various programs like Magix, Reasons, Protools etc. Performing live i usually concentrate on the vocals and hire musicians. If it's studio work, I play all the instruments.
Influences | Sounds Like:
My strongest influence musically is Barry White and Lionel Richie. The arrangements that Barry White did is the ultimate in romance music. Their is not a better songwriter than Lionel Richie...ok maybe Smoky Robinson or Babyface. I think I would compare myself to a modern day Elvis , only because musically he performed many genres. He did music that you would hear in movies.
