Berchie is a singer/songwriter and hip-hop rapper from Crofton, MD. He grew up singing in church and school choirs, with acapella groups, and in national competitions. He was fortunate enough to receive classical vocal throughout high school., which landed him a scholarship at UNC-Chapel Hill. The more he sang in college, the more he wanted to make his own music. Berchie’s sound is authentic yet intriguing. With a mixture of afro and Cali beats, classical/hip-hop merges, rock, and opera, he creates musical masterpieces every time he records music. Berchie prides himself in studying his craft and has set a goal of perfecting every genre of music. He started off last year with a bang by releasing his first single ‘Dreams’ and followed with ‘The Throne’ and ‘So Bad ft. Naim’ from his EP Be Blessed, two short months later.
