Biography:
Darcy was born in Missouri and is now a native of Texas. Started singing at the age of five along with her two sister’s.They all were encouraged and taught by their director Joann Ware of Missouri. By the age of eighteen she felt impressed to continue with this talent. She then went on to participate in "Praise in the Park" in Euless, Texas; Club 1Accord; Dallas ' Juneteenth & Hiramba Festival of Dallas, Texas; Waco, Texas’ Gospel Explosion and much more. Outreach Street Ministry, prisons, juvenile homes, nursing homes, children’s’ homes and various churches all became doors to expose her gift. In 1991 her songwriting days began and she recorded her first demo CD project in 1997. And just recently she released her solo album with 15 beautiful tracks all written by her entitled "God Is Greater" which continues to be a favorite! Her past accomplishment were 1st place winner of the Gospel Songwriters Workshop talent showcase hosted in Pensacola, Florida every year! Darcy was also a participant of the Frank Brown Songwriters’ Festival in Orange Beach, Alabama. She is also part of Tim Clifton & Purpose a local group here in the Dallas area. Her influences have been from both singers and songwriters alike. Praise & worship has always been a lifestyle for her and the words of the songs she writes has blessed and changed many lives. Her goal for each song is to continue to project messages of healing, deliverance and restoration. As she continues to walk in her calling she hopes as she serves, God's will, will always be done.
