Biography:
Take the grooves and sounds of the golden age of rock, add catchy melodies, some youthful creativity, season everything with a pinch of modern influences und let all of those elements boil in a pressure cooker for a couple of years. The result is a down-to-earth, honest meal, a retro rock soup: the Swiss rock band BRAINHOLZ. Retro doesn’t mean conventional! The music of Brainholz is powerful: The members of the band play with lots of energy and en-thusiasm. Tasteful melodies and groovy, spicy rhythms are characteristic of their way of playing. In a review, rawk.ch said, that the band plays energetic rock, that is both, retro and new. The music connoisseur and music blogger of musikch.com, Fredi Hallauer, also talked about the band and said: “They don’t try any antics, they just play good old rock, in a skillful matter.” And Mirko B. of metalfactory.ch said, the band plays music, that is balanced between hooky and forceful rock grooves, some funky rhythms with very melodic outings.
