Biography:
Samuel Fingesi is a Nigerian hip-hop artist and producer whose journey began in Nigeria, where passion outweighed comfort and risk was part of the process. As a student, he followed his Afro-influenced friends to studio sessions after class, riding motorcycles on dusty, broken highways just for a chance to be around music. While others recorded and re-recorded vocals, Samuel observed closely—watching producers build songs layer by layer. That curiosity became his foundation.
Although surrounded by Afropop, Samuel’s heart belonged to hip-hop. Determined to chart a different path, he immersed himself in rap music and high-end production, studying sound, structure, and delivery. With limited resources but unlimited drive, he recorded and produced his first mixtape entirely on his phone—marking the start of a self-taught journey into music creation.
From that point on, Samuel committed to mastering every aspect of music: beat making, recording, sound design, production, mixing, and mastering. His growth has been intentional and relentless. In 2025, he expanded further into musical visuals and storytelling, refining his creativity beyond sound into imagery and narrative.
Now positioned as both an artist and producer, Samuel Fingesi represents a new wave of Nigerian hip-hop—self-made, detail-driven, and forward-thinking. While confident in his creative abilities, he recognizes gaps in the promotion, exposure, and business side of music, and is actively working to bridge that divide to build a sustainable, global career.
