Biography:
Awan Davis known as “ Da King ” or “DK” is a 27 year old rap Artist from Baton Rouge Louisiana . Starting at the age of 5 years old he immediately had an interest for music. Further down his path Awan ended up linking with a manager that has also managed talent including Lil Boosie, Webbie, Fox, Bun B, Pimp C, Yelawolf and ect. Mainly in the underground scene DK has performed at various venues including Club Belle Noche of Baton Rouge and House of Blues in New Orleans, Louisiana. Facing some hardship because of his environment as a young hustler and entrepreneur he has been in and out of the streets and working as a travel installer for a security company until his business thrives. Along his journey his son was born at the age of 19, having to quickly take on father hood while stepping into music world officially which he never seen. Although talking the job as a single father he still has various accomplishments including graduating from Full Sail University as a Producer / Engineer and owning his first smoke shop business. With a lot to offer he his coming into the industry with innovative sounds and a refreshing ear for music.
