Biography:
Well, I’m Maiine Point out of Rochester, NY. I’ve been doing music for years!! It started when I was young, 5 years old, when my sister taught me how to beatbox. As I grew older I was introduced to Hip Hop through my peers. When I say hip hop I’m talking as far back as Monie Love, Slick Rick, before Wu Tang! My family used to love a lot, like a lot but we settled in at my aunts. Here is where the fire comes from. It was shooting, bank robberies, whatever you can think of happened on Berlin, located in the North East side of Rochester, NY. In my high school years I used to skip school, sorry mom!, and write poetry amongst other things. I never let anyone know because I was the only person I knew doing it so I felt it was worthy of announcing. As the years went by I watched my brother rap in a group’, Underground Alliance. That was so close to me that I wanted in! I’ve always put money into equipment to be able to record. I went from Cool Edit to pro tools to now Luna. In 2015 I went to prison for possession with attempt to sell and came home in 2020. Since 2020 I’ve released the music because I felt it was just time to. In all the years I could’ve I only managed to do 1 album and 1 mixtape. Now I’ve been working on a few! With various producers as well as my own production. Now, I’m ready for the world to know who Maiine Point is!
