Biography:

I go by HEADHUNCHOELI, and my journey started way before the music—it began with film. I'm currently a Film major at Bowie State University, but even before college, I was already grinding in the DMV area, working on local film projects and sharpening my craft.

One of my proudest early moments was the release of my movie "Crazy Love," which is now streaming on Tubi, Amazon Prime, Peacock, and more. Crazy Love tells the story of three sisters who run a nail salon—and when an abuser enters their family circle, they have to fight to protect their bond, balance the chaos of the streets, and keep their dreams alive. The film picked up numerous awards, which was a blessing, but after that project, my soul started pulling me in a new direction: music.

Growing up, I was a hooper—I played basketball my whole life. It taught me discipline, teamwork, resilience. But after a series of injuries, my dreams of taking it further were cut short. That chapter ended, and that's when music found me... or maybe I found it. Either way, it became my new outlet, my therapy, my purpose.

I started recording music the rawest way possible—sitting in the car with a USB mic, teaching myself everything from scratch. No fancy studios, no big budgets, just passion and a relentless drive. Every setback became a reason to go harder. Every closed door fueled the fire. Over time, I went from recording tracks in the car to building my own studio setup at the crib. Now, I’m recording consistently and sharpening my sound every day, staying locked in and building my catalog.

I'm all about authenticity. I’m not chasing clout or quick fame. I'm here to build real connections, a real movement, and reach people who feel where I'm coming from. That’s why my focus right now is growing through true fans, real conversations, and authentic experiences.

Currently, I'm pushing my single "Shooting Stars" heavy. It's more than a song—it’s a statement. I’m putting my all behind it, working to take it to the next level and show the world what HEADHUNCHOELI really stands for.

I’m blessed to be getting interviews, articles, show opportunities, and real love from the community and beyond. I’m still rooted though—I'm from Montgomery County, Maryland, USA—and I carry that with pride everywhere I go.

What I like?

Grinding with purpose

Creating art that moves people

Staying locked in with good energy and real ones

Turning pain into progress

What I don't like?

Fake energy

Wasted potential

Giving up when it gets tough

Dirty habits?

Overworking myself and forgetting to sleep sometimes

Being my own toughest critic (even when I should chill)

Never knowing when to take a real "day off"
But hey—that’s all part of being a Huncho, right?

Outside of music and film, I'm just a regular dude who loves good vibes, good food, deep conversations, and staying grounded. Everything I create—whether it's a movie, a song, or a moment—is a reflection of where I’ve been, what I’ve seen, and where I’m determined to go.

I’m just getting started. Believe that.
