Biography:
Jerome Baubien, professionally known as Romee Rombe, is an influential American rapper who speaks about the pains and struggles he has encountered as a young, black African American male. Born on November 4th, 1997 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the hospital that many of our most famous artists today
were born in, Broward General. He grew up jumping back and forth from Broward
County, Florida to Dade County, Florida his whole life. While jumping back and forth to those two counties with his family, he experienced some rough living situations due to low income and poor communities where lots of violent and criminal activities were conducted. He was the middle child of three and was absolutely lucky to have both parents in his life,
although they weren't together. Growing up he was considered as what we would call a character because he was always making someone smile and happy because of all his positive and charismatic character traits, but he did have some cons within himself he didn't realize. He was a young man who walked around with his head high, but full with anger He never wanted to have to be violent or aggressive to anybody, but knowing the world we're
living in, he knew he was going to have to fight to survive, physically, mentally, and
emotionally.
He grew up getting suspended from school for
fighting and/or back talking to the teachers, just like the rest of the bad children within his area. Roaming the streets as you would assume, being that he grew up in that kind of area, but that wasn't the only everyday hobbies and activities that he conducted. Around the age of 13 he began to start rapping as a hobby because he seen how well his big brother was at it, and that being someone he's always looked up to, he found the interest in doing so. He rapped with all of his friends, brother, cousins, and their friends and everyone realized that he was actually not that bad! Looking around at himself and how he grew up he knew that he didn't wanna be another statistic to the system and wanted to put all his loved ones into a much brighter position for a better life. So he started to make moves that he felt could help benefit him in a way to achieve those
goals.
As he got to high school he realized that he had a deep connection with music but never knewway just wanted to do it! He performed for many event in high school, got put on live tv and even got offered some deals. He's always been an entertainer since he was a kid. So instead of letting his surroundings
determine his future, he decided to find a way out. He did the best he could to get out of "the hood"
. He even enlisted into the Marine Corps to help put himself into a better position. Although it worked, it brought him a lot more issues physically, mentally and emottonally, not only.from the Military, but from...
his whole life experiences. He sought for help in many ways but couldn't find any solution. That's when he found out that his love for music was no longer questionable and his passion came from music being his Therapy. He used music as a way to better his communication and express himself, even as a way of releasing and also made him feel better. As he started releasing music he realized that many more people encouraged him to keep going since his craft was so good and many people could relate to it. Romee Rombe's music is more than just music, it's a voice. A voice of the world because he speaks on many things that the world is afraid to open up about. So he made that change and spoke up about how he felt knowing that he isn't the only one. As he struggles with himself, his creativity led to him creating pure and beautiful melodies that people love every time it is heard because it is nothing but the truth! He's planning to put his self and his loved ones in better positions while staying an independent artist. So far his road to success has been up since the start.
