French Artist From Reunion island
I’m born in hip-hop, and I have started to dance at 8 years old until 13. During this time I won battle and started to make gra@iti too in the streets with big guys in my country. I took the nickname of KAYZER SÖSé because of the movie of Usual Suspect, but the name was too much long and I never get time to finish my drawing on the wall, so I decided to short it on K.SÖSé. After that, I started to rap and create my first band DIAMOND MYSTICK at school and a bigger one later RER, with 8 and 12 guys older than me. We were the first hip-hop band in my island, but I was minor, no money and needed to work. So I have stopped hip-hop at 16 years old and started my first job, gardener for private people and company outside. Then, I did delivery and cleaning swimming pool for rich people.
At 20 years, I bought my first camera with my first salary in audiovisual. I was assistant of direction for a big set in my country, and cinema was my second passion too when I was child with hip-hop. So I created my company KSOVIDEO and started to make money. During 10 years, I worked for TV, artists, institutions, even I was teachers for kids, teenagers and in jail, and made a lot of movies, started to travel everywhere and been in festivals, and in a lot medias too, started to work with big stars.
In 2016, I got the opportunity to work in Seychelles with the TV there and the government. I made the biggest video clip too there with AVANI hotel, a five Stars.
During this time, I was supposed to go in Nigeria in Lagos to a movie festival with Rita Dominic, but they didn’t manage my visa. So I was blocked in South Africa and my real story began like this with this country. By accident.
I was supposed to stay one day in my life in South Africa, and I stayed 2 weeks finally. So 2 solutions: I got depressed or I started to go outside and meet people. Life made me choosing the second one and I’m in this point now.
So to resume since 2016 until 2022, I was photographer for a lot of people in Randurg and Johannesburg, I made my brand clothes too KSO ANGEL’s WINGS, and I started to sell it. I have opened a modeling agency with a girl too REDHILL MODELING and we started to get clients.
In 2020 I got the opportunity to work with the French Alliance in Port Elizabeth, as community manager and cultural responsible. Just with the covid, I get repatriation in 2021 and wanted to forget about South Africa so I started to work again in my country.
But I don’t know why the call of the music came back again to me after 20 years during this time...
So I decided to make it real for this time, I released myself in 2023, an own album LE K VINCI CODE, fully hip- hop, I did everything, producing, beat making, lyrics wri8ng, recording, mixing, mastering. I produced and released others singles like FRENCH MONTANA, produced and directed music videos, made show case in hotel, student partes and big festival. During this time, I came back in South Africa and recorded a new EP who calls QUINTESSENCE. I recorded everything in Maboneng and Pretoria. After that, I made an other one this year Q2: hip-hop is the new blues, and I start to have streams in Iraq, UK, US, Germany, Spain, Brazil and in a lot of others countries. I don’t know how but it’s a very good thing I think.
I have a new EP for soon already recorded. The title is Q3: hip-hop is the new therapy and it’s full of big tunes and very nice songs to promote and diffuse I promise.
