Biography:
My name is BILLZFN . I am a Chicago Native that has always had a special place for music in my heart and soul. My roots in music can be traced back to when I acquired my first flip phone. In my free time, I would create melodies as well as lyrics to the music soundtrack of the video games I would play. Aside from those, I had about 11 songs in rotation that I would religiously play as I didn’t have much access to buying other music at that time. That all changed when LimeWire was released to the public. I began experimenting with more genres outside of my previous comfortability. I ended up expanding that list of 11 to over 300 tracks in my playlist . Music was truly an escape for me. After completing high school and starting University, I was inspired by my cousin, who was a rapper at the time, to take the artistry seriously by composing my first official song and releasing it. This is where my first tangible paradigm shift happened. Next thing you know, I’m making connections with producers around my neighborhood while also creating unique works of art in grungy garages and cozy basements. After gaining a bit of traction, I upgraded to recording in professional studios in order to get that quality that I knew my music would be able to reach. I began sharing my music on every one of my social media platforms for years on end to make an impact without any budget whatsoever. The rest was history!
