Biography:
My name is Shakur Watson but my artist name is AllIsWell. I have been very passionate about music since I was just a young kid and always had a dream that music would be my career job so that I could provided for my family but I was shy. When I first started out doing music I worked with several local producers and team up with some friends who also too sung but I was never impressed with the way our records sound so I never released any music because of it. So instead of dropping anything I decided to just tag along and learn what could about recording and watch my friends continue the pursuit while I took the back seat. After high school, I was unsure what I wanted to do in college but I still wanted to go to college to be the first generation college student setting the example for my siblings. While in college I chose my major first as graphic arts because I love drawing and designing things plus drawing after my grandmother had along speech about me going to do what I want not what everyone wanted or what I though I should do for the family because we owned a small business at the time. I was thinking I would learn the business side of things so I could take our family business to a new level but she said you got to do what's best for you plus they didn't have a solid music program so I choice my next favorite. After spending 2 years in college, hot on the press became a new major that they were introducing called Commerical music where you learned everything from how to market music, how to perform, write, and all forms of how to make money with music so I discussed with my mentor the idea of a switch. Due to me already having most of my credits in the field of graphic arts we discussed it would be almost like me starting over if I decided to change adding another year to my college degree/ experience unless I double the majors and declare interdisciplinary studies so I decided to do that. Definitely was lost the first 3 months after switching cause I knew I haven't touch music in so long everything felt bran new but with the help of some students I was able to begin a fulfilling journey overcoming my shyness by understanding how to use my vocal, how to perform, and educating myself on vocal and some other instruments like piano and guitar to now being able to know why things didn't sound the way I thought it should then. Currently today I work a career job in a telecommunications company which is not in my field but I have officially started my journey as artist in pursuit of greatness of being back RnB filled with vibes like the 90s/early 2000s that makes people feel good and wanna make/show love to their significant other. After recently some life changes and losing my dad and grandmother, I decided I didn't wanted to live with regrets of not trying and saying I wish I did so with the help of some friends helping me overcome depression by putting me back in the studio emerged my new single "Belong 2" ft Jalen D. The love and support and the response I got from family, friends, and strangers showed me that I'm where I need to be and their is no better time then NOW for me to show the world that I have the talent of being a successful Artist and more! This is only the beginning to something great and now all the positive energy and love I've shown is now trying to return to me in the form of music and I'm ready!
