Biography:
My name is Griffin, I go by Only Okay, all my friends call me Grif, I’m 24 and was born in Albany, NY. I’ve always thought of myself as a New Yorker even though I’ve lived elsewhere most of my life, we moved around a lot growing up. I am a former college athlete (baseball) turned artist due to some mental health issues while in school. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression at 17 and diagnosed with schizophrenia at 24. I’ve always thought my purpose has been to help people and I’m willing to by any means necessary, and I have more than one plan do to so, making music just makes me the happiest the quickest, so I do it every day. I write, record, and engineer all of my songs so I have almost total creative control, I’m going to teach myself production after this album so I can control everything in my music
Career Goals | Objectives:
At this very moment I am prioritizing this album I’m working on, 24. It is really going to help me get some mental clarity once it is all done, and I am hoping to be able to maybe help someone else who might relate to my music. This album is gonna be the one I start sending out to labels and trying to officially break into the industry.

I took piano lessons from 12-13
Musical Instruments | Studio Equipment:
The two most important things for me are my laptop and my microphone (an interface too I guess) but that’s because those are the only things I need to make a song. I have an A2020 mic, Scarlett Solo Interface and 2014 MacBook
Influences | Sounds Like:
My favorite artists to listen to (not in order) are: Lil Wayne, Drake, Ye, Kendrick Lamar, Bryce Vine, Lil Rads, and J. Cole. I’ve been compared to NF, Mac Miller, I’m not sure who I would compare myself too, I like to think I can take a little from all of my influences
Live Performance History | Residencies | Touring Experience:
I haven’t since 2018, I am currently looking to move to a place closer more live opportunities
