Biography:
I've owned a electronic label "Abstrakt Reality Records" in the past. Of course that is when selling CD's was a thing. Now I'm just an artist. I love creating /composing music. I have no grand expectations other than to create great electronic tracks. Although I listen to alot of electronic music and love it all, I produce a brand of Lounge I labeled Lo-Fi Lounge. It's a bunch of groovy, funky laid back tracks. No two tracks my sound the same, but I believe you will be able to feel my signature in all of my work. I've just started to produce more tracks with lyrics, I think I'm going to further explore that mix.
Music Education | Training | Qualifications:
I have had music education all of my life from grade 5 though out college. I graduated high school with a music scholarship. I then went on graduate with a non usuable degree in musical instrument technology (repair musical instruments). I have been in bands since I could play the clarinet...lol.
Musical Instruments | Studio Equipment:
My music is created digitally. I have a powerful desktop and use Sonar (by CakeWalk, now owned by Bandlab). This powerful DAW is the base for all of my musical creations. I also use a host of free sample libraries as well as "Arcade" (by Output). All of these tools provide me with the motivational inspiration to take the tools at hand and make them my own.
Influences | Sounds Like:
I really hate the question of "who do you sound like" I don't produce/create cookie cutter music, every track is unique unto itself and my production style. That said the artist / band Blackmill creates music that is in a similar style as my tracks. I like to listen to laid back melodic groove music. Some of the artist aside from BlackMill are Alina Baraz, Télépopmusik,Phaeleh among many others.
