Biography:

Dave Hamilton started the Happy Curmudgeons in 2015. He has played guitar in various bands and worked as a studio musician. He brought in Jeff Warner as a co-writer and musician as well as Amy Dixon-Lavery for vocals and Tumbleweed for various sound manipulation. The band released their first cd, Meant 2 Be, in 2017. They are currently working on their second cd, 2nd Chances, with their producer - Mark Byerly. The band will have special guests on their upcoming album like Jim Moose Brown from the Bob Seger Band and Bobby Balderrama from Question Mark & The Mysterians.

Music Education | Training | Qualifications:

Dave Hamilton minored in music at Miami University. Mark Byerly, the producer, plays with the Bob Seger Band and has also played with Carlos Santana and Justin Timberlake.




Musical Instruments | Studio Equipment:

Dave Hamilton plays mainly Taylor acoustics, but does play Martin DC Aura GT. He also has a 1984 Hamer prototype and 1987 Les Paul Custom. Tumbleweed plays various Seydel and Lee Oskar harmonicas. Jeff Warner plays Martin guitars.




Influences | Sounds Like:

We sound like CCR, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, a young version of Stevie Nicks, Avett Brothers, Bob Dylan....Flying Burrito Bros.
