Biography:
I am an 18-year-old Philadelphia artist under the alias Kai Benji, I began writing music in 5th grade, but I truly began to take things seriously in high-school around grade 9 (2019) when I recorded my first song “NO FRIENDS FREESTYLE” which was received pretty well. I came into this game with the goal of creating something new and unique, a sound never heard before. This mindset eventually led me to release my first EP titled “A List Of My Regrets”, which was inspired by my late cousin Reese who was murdered by a police officer and shot 15 times. I poured my heart out in this 8 track project that was created in a matter of months. For example, on tracks like “Die Tonight”, which detail all of the challenges i’ve faced in life while chasing my dreams. I’m a natural born music lover above all, I love everything surrounding music, the process of creating, instruments, vocals, everything. That passion for music drives me, so i couldn’t care less about the money I’m earning or am going to earn... I’m doing what I love to do, and I won’t ever stop.
Career Goals | Objectives:
My main career right now is to get more fans + the recognition I deserve for the music I create. My main major goal is to sign a sub-label deal (ex. Roc-Nation / G.O.O.D Music) under the name “DREAMS DON’T DIE”

Musical Instruments | Studio Equipment:
The equipment I use at my friends home studio is a macbook air, scarlet pro interface & recording mic & studio grade headphones. I don’t need any gear necessarily to perform. I’m a natural born performer just throw me on the stage and let me do what i do!
