Biography:
I'm Erik Strife, I'm a 31 year old and I'm a singer/songwriter. I've been writing songs for over 15 years and I finally had the courage to start sharing them with the world. growning up I never really cared about music but life happened and it was when things started to get rougher and rougher for me that I started to write my own lyrics and my own melodies, it was the way I found to "let things out" since I am a very emotional guy with a very mean/tough look ;P It's hard for me to define my songs since I've written so many different things from very hardcore to very uplifting/happy songs but now I'm in a place where it feels right and what calls me is more emotional/romantic/inspirational songs. My process of creating songs varies a lot, I had songs that literally just came to me out of the nowhere, some other times I can get inspired by a beat or a sample and create a whole song around it or even create a music based on an image or a video.. I breathe music and it became one of my biggest life fuels and helped me so much with everything.. And one of the reasons why I always wanted to release my music is that the same way that music helped me in my life I would love to help others with my music as well! Beside all this I LOVE nature, animals, the unniverse.. and I am also a gamer, have a youtube channel (Erik Strife) where I have some different kinds of content including my musics and where I try to be more active since I'm terrible with the social media...
Career Goals | Objectives:
The main objective would be to share my music to the world and have people know that I exist and with that help people get through tough times with my music the same way music helped me get through mine.
Music Education | Training | Qualifications:
I just played acoustic guitar for around 1 year when I was around 12
Influences | Sounds Like:
I don't compare myself with any musician, I listen to all kind of music styles but I guess my base for the songs that I create come mostly from japanese music influences
Live Performance History | Residencies | Touring Experience:
I never performed any of my songs live, did karaoke 2/3 times and not even my parents know that music is my dream.
