Kill The T.V

Mexico City, Mexico

Current Score: ★★★☆☆ ☆☆

Biography:

His sound

Kill the TV fuses the power of a solid and powerful base, with rough and intense guitar sounds, mixed with melodies and fresh electronic sounds that characterize the essence of the band and whose sound can be heard in their productions.

The future

After the pandemic and the death of our beloved Zette Voltage Kill, The TV has been in an incubation process, without ceasing to be active in the studio, both making remixes for international artists such as NURKO and JVNA. As with Latin American artists such as Limbo (Arg) and Club Manchego (MX). Preparing their new production and regrouping to release a new album and recreate a new tour.

The band is currently promoting the new single from their next production, called “Outside”, and talks about the limitations we have when we are alive, without realizing our brief participation in this path called life. For Kill The TV, more than a single it is an offering for this Day of the Dead and it will be presented to the general public, like the video on October 31, on platforms and social networks.

Kill the TV is a shock rock group, made up of OliFliP and Johnny Pous, representing the dark side of both characters, a side that they had not shown before on stage, of their enigmatic personality that few know and that are letting out songs to song during his show.

Dark side

The dark theme of their songs, an interesting and mysterious look and their energetic live presence, make this group out of the ordinary, inviting from the moment they stand on stage to witness their show, which also includes visual and sensitive surprises. The masks they wear represent in a metaphorical way, in which all of us, without exception, maintain before society a face that we prefabricated and under which we hide our darkest secrets...

After the unfortunate event that have occurred in the last two years, Kill The TV creates an offering dedicated to all those who are no longer with us and/or lost the battle, as in the case of our great friend, sister and partner Zette Voltage, who In addition to fighting against a lethal disease, he left us a very important legacy in the Mexican music scene.

Kill the TV will make a respectful offering with a new single, where she was part of the production and recording of this, and it is a pride for the band to show the legacy that she left while she was part of the band until her last days.

The song is called Outside and it talks about the limitations we have when we are alive, without realizing our brief participation in this path called life. For Kill The TV, more than a single it is an offering for this Day of the Dead and it will be presented to the general public, just like the video on October 31.

It should be noted that both this single and its respective video were created years before his death, and what better than these emblematic dates to pay our gratitude and respect to those who are no longer with us and who were a key piece in the formation and growth From this project.

"Outside" is a call to action, it is a reminder of the time that is gone, the time that is, and the time that is gone, what was once dreamed of and never happened, and what was once dreamed of and is came true; It is living without leaving anything pending at the end. Our mission is to deliver songs that fill our souls with joy, that make us enjoy and rejoice in how important it is to feel and live, but at the same time build our destiny and leave a path for a new generation.

The offering will be this October 31st. The video will be released simultaneously on our social networks.
