Biography:
I am a singer songwriter, poet, writer, artist, translator and many more.
I began my music career as a singer in the project Allegro non troppo. After this I founded my own band Swarga, with whom I have released an album To the Sun in 2011. I have performed at all major stages and festivals in Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Malta, Italy, Spain, Czech republic and Russia, with the band Swarga I represented the European Capital of Culture 2012 in Belgium. Later I continued my career as a singer-songwriter in collaboration with various musicians from Europe and Russia (Dan Zelisko, Laco Zach, Claudia Heidegger, Andrea Girardo, Daria Bogdanova – Bodaria, Magnus Josefsson, Ura Severanin).
Born in Russia and raised in Slovenia in a multinational family, I write in Slovene, Russian (both mother tongues) and English, transforming the borders between them into new pathways of understanding and communication. As an artist, I try to find the connections between the colours and the sound, bringing the music and fine art closer to each other. Dance is another form of movement, that expresses everything else in another way. I join all these forms of art into one single search for harmony.
In October 2012, I published my first poetry book Potovanja duše (Journeys of the Soul). In 2020, my second poetry book Preraščanje pomladi (Overgrowing the spring) was published. Besides the poetry, I also write fairy tales and stories. I have published my first children's book Hiša gospoda Marčimarja (The House of Mr. Marchimar) in 2021.
In autumn 2015 I have released my first solo album Following the birds. The album also features original poetry in all three languages. My next solo album Water Wind/Вода Ветер/Voda Veter was released in 2020. The album contains songs in all three languages.
From endless travelling through space and beyond, I am very much influenced by the greatest poets of their eternal time as well as the sung stories of some musicians, and I combines poetry and music as two siblings. Various music experiences turn me to the soft genres of indie folk melodies, and lyrics become the stories about life, about love and about freedom - the common search in everybody's soul.
Curently, I am working on my new single and collecting songs for a new album (or maybe two). It has been a long period of sitting home and lots of new ideas. One of these is also including some songs in Italian, which is now my curent country. The expansion of art.
Career Goals | Objectives:
My main goal is to get signed and find a manager , which should later also bring more gigs and help me to sell more records and finally, more fans. The main idea is to get my music closer to the people, and with a help of other people, experienced in music industry, this makes everything easier.
Music Education | Training | Qualifications:
I have studied a little piano at music school during my classical ballet education in Slovenia. Later I took private classical guitar classes with slovenian musican and singer-songwriter and some vocal classes with teachers from Slovenia, Italy and Croatia.
Musical Instruments | Studio Equipment:
Home studio , consists of a simple audio card connected to my computer (MacBook), which I use for recording in Garage band. I use also a high quality microphone (Rode) for recording voice and some instruments. The microphone is probably my favourite one, since most of the music is based on my voice. For making songs, I use guitar and a synthesizer, also ukulele and celtic harp.
Influences | Sounds Like:
Joni Mitchell , Suzanne Vega, from the modern ones that is Sufjan Stevens and Marketa Irglova. I have been compared many times to Dolores O'Riordan beacuse of my voice. Other comparisons include Angel Olsen, Elizabeth Frazer, Vashti Bunyan.

Yes, although it has been decreased from 2020 because of the world circumstances. In the past 12 months I have played around 7 shows.
